1. Create Your Own Website With No Experience!

I've recently been in an email exchange with a fellow WAHM named Diane who runs the site Make An Easy Website. She's a very nice lady and I looked over her site and noticed that it would be a great resource for some people at MommyJobs. Seeing that a lot of you want to open your own website but don't have the expertise, this site is amazing! You build your own site with their Easy Website Creator and you don't have to have any HTML exprience at all. They also offer a ton of ecommerce solutions like shopping carts, banner rotators, site templates, message boards, and a ton more. I was simply pleased with Diane's site and thought I'd pass it on to those who may be looking for a service such as this.

2. Surf Safely With Site Advisor!

This site is really cool. I recently found it through my monthly PC World Magazine that I get in the mail. It's called "Site Advisor" and it's put out by the reputable anti-virus company, McAfee. Well what it does is that you download a little toolbar and whenever you surf a site, it prevents you from visiting sites that have spyware, scumware, viruses, and other online scams. I'm running it right now and it's already blocked a ton of sites for me. I was trying to find some lyrics to a song the other day and you wouldn't believe how much spyware those types of sites have! Anyhow it's completely free and I thought it was neat so I'm passing it on. It's especially handy for you auto-surfing types.

3. Save Money On Restaurant Gift Certificates!

I stumbled upon this the other day while I was looking for a birthday present for a friend of mine. At the site Restaurant.com they have gift certificates to thousands of well-known restaurants in all areas that you can get for a fraction of the cost. I purchased him a $25.00 gift certficate to his favorite restaurant, but instead of paying $25.00, I only paid $10.00! So he gets to spend $25 at the restaurant and I get to save money on the cost of the gift certificate. I'm not sure how they're able to do that, but it really works - I've done it personally!

If you want to find a restaurant in your neck of the woods, all you have to do is type in your zip code and you can buy gift certificates for yourself and save when you go out dining. I thought it was amazing and I'm going to be using it for all of my birthday presents from now on. You can even opt to have the gift certificate sent right to their email. So if you're a procrastinator like me, you can shop right on their actual birthday and they'l receive the certificate that very day.
