Another common scam
is one that states that the health industry is completely understaffed
when it comes to their billing and claims department and they
need help to get all of their claims sent out. (Editor's Note
- When was the last time your doctor was too busy to send you
a bill??)
The scam is that
when you inquire about this work at home job, they will send
you information saying that in order to learn how to Process
Medical Claims you will need to spend a few hundred dollars
on the equipment and software needed to process these claims.
Then when the software
arrives it's more or less just listings of doctor's offices
and you have to contact them yourself to find out if they need
help processing their claims (which normally they do not) and
you could have looked this information up in the phone book
yourself.
