Motivation And Inspiration

by: Jennifer Clason

As an avid reader of many self-help books, I've read a lot about motivation and inspiration. It really takes a good lesson sometimes to open your eyes and inspire one to achieve greatness.

Being in the Internet Marketing business, there is great risk of failure. The web can be a very lucrative opportunity for some, and it can also be a cruel lesson to others. Do I think everyone can make it rich on the web? No. I think the Internet is the "great divide" between those who can and those who cannot. You have to be able to think like an entrepreneur. You have to see a new idea, concept, or item and think to yourself: "How can I make money with that?". Not everyone thinks this way, and not everyone will work hard and take great risks to acheive greatness.

With that said, how does one stay motivated in the huge tidal waves of the Internet? There are three strategies that I live by whenever I'm feeling failure or discouragement.

1. If you must, you can. So many people think they are "weak", however when they are forced into a situation where they have to be strong, they surprise themselves at how well they handle the situation. Keep your chin up, stay strong and weather through the storm. It will only get better from there!

2. Picture yourself as a success. If you start to think successfully, you'll be amazed how these things start "showing up" around you. Imagine yourself having great wealth, having prosperity, and having business success. Never think that you are a struggling business owner because then you will always be a struggling business owner. Think big!

3. Think from the end result. What is it that you want to achieve exactly? Do you want a new car? Do you want a new house? How about a million dollars? Think from the end product that you wish to achieve and then work backwards on what steps you must complete to obtain that goal. If you think forward, you'll only burden yourself with the fear and anxiety of the road ahead.

Write these three principles down. Post them on your fridge, on your wall, on a bulletin board, or wherever you can see them each and every day. Remember them and LIVE them! You will soon see success and you'll learn to motivate and inspire yourself!
