Why Would I Want To Work At Home?

by: Jennifer Clason

It's Monday morning, the alarm goes off at 6:00 AM. You get up, get the kids ready for school, make breakfast, get your own self ready for work. As you get into the car and drive to work, you realize the traffic is backed up for a good 4 miles and you will be 30 minutes late for work. Sound familiar? Not to me!

Hi, my name is Jennifer Clason and I work from home! Although I do own an alarm clock, I couldn't tell you how to set it to wake me up if you paid me a million dollars. My morning commute to work comes after a leizurely breakfast and then I usually shower at my own pace. I commute my way from the bedroom into my office. Sometimes I even stay in my jammies for a little longer and skip the shower until after lunch! Hey, who's gonna know?

Does this sound like the life you want to lead? Then you want to work from home! Be your own boss, work on projects that you enjoy, set your own hours, and most importantly you can be home to raise your kids! I can't tell you how many times my friend who works in a daycare has told me that the children she supervises have called her "Mommy". Do you want that child to be yours?

I know what you're thinking. Easier said than done, you can't afford to quit your job. Well millions of women have already done it, why can't you? You just have to be creative and brainstorm about how you can make money.

This is what MommyJobs is all about, giving you the resources to learn how to work from home. Make sure you check back frequently for new articles, offers, and advice!
